I started FootLuxe to write shoe reviews grounded in real, hands-on wear. Every pair featured here has been worn, tested, and evaluated by me personally, so you get an honest read on how it actually performs.
I buy these shoes myself. I wear them to the office, on weekends, on trips. I scuff them, crease them, and see what holds up after real use. Then I write about it honestly.
What I Cover
Mostly luxury sneakers, high-end dress shoes, and that sweet spot where comfort meets style for everyday wear. I focus on the $150 to $800 range because that's where most buying decisions get tricky. Below that, you're not really taking a risk. Above it, you usually know exactly what you want.
My Testing Process
Every shoe I review goes through at least two weeks of daily wear. I pay attention to break-in time, how the sole holds up on different surfaces, whether the materials age well or just fall apart. I take notes throughout the process, not just on day one when everything feels great.
If something impresses me, I'll say so. If a $500 sneaker feels like a $100 one with a fancy logo, I'll say that too. My goal here is to help you avoid buyer's remorse on shoes that look great online but disappoint in person.

Transparency matters to me. FootLuxe earns revenue through sponsored content and brand partnerships. Sponsored articles are always clearly labeled. I never let a partnership change my opinion on a product. If a brand sends me shoes and they're mediocre, I'll either write an honest review or skip it entirely. I stick to my own assessment of the product.
